Mr. V. R. Shariff
Mr. Shariff, the Founder of Niton Valve Group, has built a remarkable legacy that began humbly as a Lathe operator and has grown into a leading force in the valve industry. His journey, defined by resilience and relentless hard work, has transformed Niton Valves from a small 400 sqft facility to a state-of-the-art 400,000 square feet production plant with six plants, capable of manufacturing valves for a wide range of industries. Widely regarded as “The Valve Man of India,” Mr. Shariff’s approach to business goes beyond just producing high-quality products; it is about providing exceptional service and making a meaningful impact on society.
A visionary with a deep sense of responsibility, Mr. Shariff is also a passionate philanthropist and educationist. He is dedicated to empowering communities through education, with a special focus on uplifting women, and believes that education is a fundamental pillar for societal growth. His philanthropic efforts are aimed at creating opportunities for the underprivileged, fostering progress, and contributing to national development. Mr. Juned Shariff
Joint Managing Director of Niton Valve Group, he leads the Niton Marketing, Business Development, and Brand Building in addition to supervising the company’s overall activities growth and is instrumental in making strategic decisions for the Company. As the Joint Managing Director and older son of the founder, Juned Shariff combines a legacy of leadership with a modern approach to business management.
With a deep understanding of the company’s operations, he possesses equal leadership expertise as his father, ensuring a seamless continuation of the company’s values and vision. Juned oversees the key areas of sales, finance, and human resources, driving growth and fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, and employees. His strategic direction and commitment to excellence in these critical functions enable the company to stay competitive, financially sound, and people-focused, while maintaining the high standards of quality and innovation that have defined Niton’s for generations.
Beyond his corporate role, Juned Shariff is known for his involvement in community and social initiatives. For instance, he has been part of hosting in Mumbai, fostering community bonding, and has supported ventures like the Mumbai Cricket Stars league, reflecting his interest in sports promotion.


Mr. Naved Shariff
As the Joint Managing Director and younger son of the founder of Niton Group, Naved brings a unique blend of deep-rooted expertise, technical know-how, and dynamic leadership to the manufacturing operations. Having grown up alongside his father, Naved possesses an equal level of technical knowledge and shares his father’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s manufacturing processes, ensuring that every valve is produced with precision, efficiency, and excellence. Naved’s hands-on approach and dedication to continuous improvement have been instrumental in driving the company’s ongoing success, all while preserving the core values and craftsmanship passed down through generations.
Under his leadership, Niton Group continues to set industry standards for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Naved also leads the company’s Research and Development efforts, supported by a highly qualified team of technical professionals. His extensive experience spans across quality management, order execution, and after-sales services, enabling Niton to consistently deliver world-class solutions within set deadlines.
Outside of his professional role, Naved is a passionate sports enthusiast and fitness advocate. He is an all-rounder with a wide array of interests in social activities, which enables him to foster strong relationships and network effectively across various sectors. He is also deeply passionate about learning and teaching new skills, constantly seeking opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
Mr. Atif Parkar
Atif joined Niton in 2012 as a Business Analyst and is currently serving as the only Executive Director. His extensive experience spans across various areas, including software development, strategic alliances, business development, and strategic planning. A pioneer of the ERP concept within.
Niton, he has played a crucial role in revolutionizing the company’s systems and solutions. His core competence lies in Business Process Re-engineering, which has enabled Niton to implement streamlined, efficient, and foolproof systems that optimize operations.
Currently pursuing an MBA, he is enhancing his leadership capabilities and deepening his understanding of advanced business strategies. His
exceptional communication strengths and ability to foster strong client relationships have been central to his success. He excels in managing international business, with a vast network of vendors, clients across multiple countries, which adds a unique dimension to Niton’s global outreach. His ability to secure end-client approvals and navigate complex international business landscapes sets him apart in driving Niton’s growth in global markets.
With a profound understanding of key business processes such as sales, finance, inventory management, and procurement, Atif has demonstrated
extreme control and in-depth knowledge in optimizing these operations. He is also a key figure in the establishment and operationalization of Niton’s new manufacturing unit at Koparkhairane. Beyond just construction, he played a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements, making this project a significant milestone for the company.
Additionally, he is the founder of L.O.V.E (Learning of Valve Engineering) and G.R.E.E.N (Grow & Restore Enduring Evergreen Nature), two
initiatives that reflect his passion for continuous learning and environmental sustainability.


Mr. Sankesh J. Patil
Mr. Sankesh J. Patil joined Niton in 2008 as a Design Executive and has steadily advanced to his current role as General Manager – Technical. With extensive expertise in audit, order processing, and leading the API team, he plays a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of the company, ensuring that all processes meet industry standards and client expectations. In addition to leading the Design and Development Team, Mr. Patil is responsible for managing the overall technical activities at Niton, including acquiring and maintaining statutory certifications. He serves as a key link between Sales and Production, ensuring the timely and precise execution of orders for manufacturing.
Mr. Patil’s deep knowledge and leadership skills are also showcased in his role as the head of Niton’s Training Academy, L.O.V.E (Learning of Valve Engineering), where he trains fresh graduates on the fundamentals of valve engineering. A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Mr. Patil’s technical acumen, coupled with his dedication to excellence, makes him an invaluable asset to Niton.
Sachin S. Saligrama
Mr. Sachin S. Saligrama is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in manufacturing, production management, and strategic
planning. He currently serves as the Planning and Production Manager at Niton Valve Group, where he oversees the strategic planning and seamless execution of the company’s manufacturing processes. His career at Niton began in 2008 when he was appointed to lead the Khopoli Plant, and since then, he has consistently advanced through the ranks.
With a solid academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Saligrama’s initial role as a Graduate Trainee at Valvinox in 2011 laid the foundation for his remarkable career. Over the years, he rose to the position of Works Manager, gaining recognition for his hands-on involvement across all operational departments. His ability to manage everything from the most intricate details to large-scale operations earned him a reputation for excellence and comprehensive management.
In 2018, Mr. Saligrama transitioned into a broader role as the Planning and Project Manager for the Niton Group. In this capacity, he was entrusted with steering strategic initiatives and driving growth. With a profound understanding of the valve industry, Mr. Saligrama coordinates closely with multiple teams, streamlining workflows, minimizing lead times, and ensuring the effective allocation of resources to maximize productivity.
Today, as General Manager – Production, he is responsible for overseeing the complete production operations of the Niton Group. His leadership is central to the company’s success, ensuring a delicate balance between production capacity and market demand, while consistently meeting both customer expectations and rigorous quality standards.
Mr. Saligrama’s approach is driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence, ensuring that Niton remains an
industry leader. His strategic oversight and meticulous planning contribute to the organization’s long-term growth and its unwavering ability to deliver high-quality valves on time.


Mr. Raman Iyer
As the Financial Controller at Niton, Iyer is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records, and driving sound financial strategies. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the industrial valve sector, Iyer manages the company’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
He plays a crucial role in budgeting, financial planning, and reporting, providing insightful analysis that supports strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. By maintaining rigorous financial controls and optimizing cash flow, Iyer helps Niton achieve its business objectives while ensuring long-term financial stability and growth. Through strong leadership and a commitment to financial excellence, He contributes to the continued success and sustainability of the company.
